How long does it take to produce?
I like to tell customers 1-2 weeks but it honestly depends on speed of product being shipped to me and amount of orders. I try hard to complete as soon as possible.

How do I care for products?
It is very important to wash inside out in cold water using gentle cycle. Fabric softener is not recommended as it can remove the art from apparel. Dry either by hanging or tumble dry. This goes for all applications except embroidery. With embroidery you can wash and dry as usual and may need to iron after wash for it to lay flat.

What is your experience in making apparel?
I graduated from Tipton High in 1990 and took Graphic Arts at Kirkwood Community College. Before I graduated I was offered an embroidery artist position at DeLongs Sportswear in Grinnell, Ia. After a few years I became the Embroidery Art Supervisor.I was extremely blessed to get to create Embroidered art for Disney, NFL, NHL, NBA, Rugby Teams, Indy Racing Teams, Indian Motorcycles, Movie projects and more! after getting my 3 boys into school I worked for a local company where I created embroidery, vinyl cut out designs and finished projects as well as customer service with clients.
I have a combined experience of almost 20 years in the custom apparel industry.

What is the process to create apparel?
This is an excellent question because I think many do not know what really goes on for items to be made. After a customer contacts me I start creating the art using Illustrator software. After the customer approves the art and cost I add them to my job list and order the blank apparel. While I am waiting on the material I will get the art ready for either embroidery, vinyl or digital prints. With Embroidery I use an embroidery software that allows me to "draw" the art in stitches. I will then send the art to my sewing machine and sew out a sample to ensure there are no edits needed before applying on product. A large jacket back can take hrs depending on complexity to sew. If it is vinyl I will prepare it for cutting. I send the art to my vinyl cutter, pick the art out of the sheets and apply with a heat press. If it is digital I print the art out on transfer paper. Then I fuse the transfer to the adhesive paper. I then press it using the heat press. So there are a lot of elements in making one item. I will be making pages in the future to show each process for those curious.

Can I contact you on progress of my items?
PLEASE!!!! I am not only a business owner but a consumer as well! If you are spending your hard earned money on an item and are wondering when you will get it ask!!! I would! Especially if your a first time customer to a business that you are not familiar with! Again I do each item individually myself and that can take longer then a person realizes to do. Knowing that though, each item is special to me and every customer is too. You will never be a number, a job, or a paycheck for me. If the finished product is not how I want it to look I start the process again to ensure it is done to the best of my abilities. That does not cost the customer anything. Any product that I deem unsatisfactory I will try to give it to anyone who is need of clothing or use as a sample material for future jobs.
